Terms of Service

1. Description of the service

Recallow is a study tool that uses AI to review the PDF or TXT study notes you upload, highlights the key points with page numbers, prepares a summary and a lesson, generates quizzes and flashcards, and plans your study with spaced repetition.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure; tell us right away if you notice any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not transfer or sell your account to anyone else.
• If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian (Privacy Policy, Age requirement).

3. Acceptable use

• Upload only content you have the right to upload and process. You are responsible for making sure that uploading a copyrighted work (e.g., a book or course material) is lawful.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or hateful content, or content that includes other people's personal data without permission.
• Do not try to exceed, bypass, or break the Service, its security, or its usage limits; do not use automated tools for bulk access, run unauthorized security tests, or reverse engineer the Service.
• Do not use AI output in ways that mislead others or violate academic integrity rules.

4. Ownership of your content

The content you upload belongs to you (or the rights holders). You grant us permission to store and process this content, and to pass it to our service providers (e.g., the AI provider), solely to provide the Service to you. You may use the analyses, quizzes, and cards generated for you for your personal study.

5. AI output

Summaries, lessons, questions, answers, cards, and memory hints are generated automatically by AI and may be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. You should verify every important piece of information against its page in the source document. The output does not replace a teacher, a textbook, or expert advice, and does not guarantee any exam result.

6. Usage limits

Usage limits apply to keep the Service sustainable. On the free plan, the current limits are: per month, 10 document analyses, 30 quizzes, 20 card generations, 50 memory hints, 50 OCR pages, and 2 million AI tokens; up to 100 pages and 25 MB per document; and up to 50 documents. The number of new cards per day and the number of requests in a short period are also limited. You can see your current limits on the Settings page; we may change the limits with advance notice.

Once an AI operation has reached the provider, the corresponding allowance may be used up even if the operation fails.

7. Fees

The Service is currently free. If a paid plan is offered in the future, its price and payment terms will be announced separately and in advance; you will not be charged without your consent.

8. Changes to the service

The Service is still being developed. We may change, add, or remove features, and the Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance or unexpected problems. We recommend keeping a separate copy of your important data (e.g., your own notes).

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from errors in AI output, interruption of the Service, or data loss. Liability arising from intent or gross negligence, and your rights under consumer law that cannot be limited by contract, remain unaffected.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account at volkanvural01@gmail.com. If you seriously or repeatedly violate these terms, we may suspend or close your account, with prior notice where possible.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes; your rights as a consumer to apply to consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts remain unaffected.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we will announce significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions: volkanvural01@gmail.com.
